NCCS Student Honored at 44th Religious Awards Ceremony

NCCS Student Harrington Earns Cub Scout Emblems
DUNKIRK, N.Y.: –--Robert E. Harrington V was honored to participate in the 44th Annual Religious Awards Ceremony of Buffalo Diocesan Catholic Committee on Scouting, located at the Youth and Young Adult Ministry Diocese of Buffalo Saint Joseph Cathedral.
Robert has been a Cub Scout for three years and is an active member of the Fredonia Cub Scout 267 Wolf Pack. He completed the Light of Christ program and was honored with the "Light of Christ" medal and patch. Cub Scout emblems are completed in a family setting with assistance of a trained Religious Emblems coordinator. These programs take approximately two months to complete. The religious emblems were blessed by Most Reverend Richard J. Malone.
Robert currently attends Northern Chautauqua Catholic School (NCCS) as a 2nd grade student and is a member of Blessed Mary Angela R.C. Parish -St. Hedwigs in Dunkirk. Robert and Karen Harrington IV are the proud parents of Robert.
Robert was one of two elementary school students from the wolf pack honored with the Light of Christ award at the ceremony. Principal Tilaro said, “We are very proud of Robert’s hard work and determination in achieving this honor. Congratulations to his parents as well.”
