1989 Founders Club

Not long ago, several Catholic schools in the local area were forced to close due to declining enrollment, including St. Joseph in Fredonia, Holy Trinity in Dunkirk and St. Hyacinth in Dunkirk. As a result, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School (formerly St. Mary’s) increased enrollment and in 1989 was renamed the Northern Chautauqua Catholic School, dedicated to serving the northern part of the county.

For over 30 years, Northern Chautauqua Catholic School has provided a high-quality Catholic education to students throughout the region, and it is now the only Catholic school remaining in Chautauqua County.

The 1989 Founders Club, inspired by the founding year of NCCS, is composed of a generous group of NCCS community members, parents, friends, faculty and staff members who have committed to supporting the Angels Fund on a monthly basis.

Members at this level make monthly gifts of $19.89 or greater to the Angels fund.

We are grateful to 1989 Founders Club members for supporting our mission to provide a foundation for Christian living by integrating and nurturing faith through teaching and example and thereby becoming an extension of the teaching mission of the Roman Catholic Church.

Our members' monthly gifts provide many transformative opportunities to our students as they become leaders in their school and their community.

Benefits of membership in the 1989 Founders Club include:

  • Recognition in all school event programs and

  • Recognition in school lobby signage.
