Mrs. Nalepa's third graders made blankets and personalized tees and sweatshirts for a local family who lost all of their belongings in a house fire.
Each year at Christmas time, social studies teacher Ms. Mourer leads the prep school in an annual service project for local veterans. This year, students created care packages that included coffee, tea, and puzzle books, as well as a hand-made thank you/holiday greeting.
Students sewed care pillows for local non-profit Circle of Love, which supports women undergoing breast cancer treatment.
Each November in the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving, NCCS' Mission Club leads the school in collecting non-perishables for our local food pantry. The Blessing of the Hunger Sacks is an annual tradition that includes our entire student body, food pantry volunteers, and canonical administrator who prays over the donations.
