Committees at NCCS

Advancement Committee

The Advancement Committee’s main responsibility is to coordinate the school’s non-revenue and revenue activities.  The Committee is responsible for advising the Board on the financial goals of the annual fund and on any capital campaign; reviewing all advancement efforts; coordinating public relations; enrollment management; alumni relations; and fundraising; and facilitating all Trustees and other volunteers in non-revenue and revenue producing programs.  This Committee should not be viewed as the only group that brings in financial resources.  All Trustees are involved in Advancement.

Home-School Association

Technically not a Committee, the HSA is a volunteer organization within NCCS with the purpose of supporting the mission of the school and assisting the Principal.  As tuition does not cover school operating costs, HSA’s initiatives are an important and integral part of funding NCCS.

The HSA at NCCS consists of a team of parents who volunteer their time, talents, and enthusiasm to achieve the organization’s mission.  The HSA operates under bylaws and its mission to support our children and our school.  We organize events and fundraisers to support our school financially and add to the enrichment of our students.  Whether you have a single hour in a single day/evening or the entire school year, there is an opportunity to participate in your child’s school environment.  We welcome new ideas, new energy, and any comments or suggestions that will facilitate our objectives!
